HUMAN RIGHTS


I ask that the Secretariat give serious consideration to the following

- All babies born In South Africa should have the right to be exclusively bromatfod for the first six months and have continued breaatfoodingp while receiving appropriate and adequate complementary foods, for at least two years.

- All women should be enabled to make an informed choice about the feeding method for her child, without pressure from vested interests In artificial feeding i.e. the commercial sector and health pepfwso£onals.

  1. ask that then* rights be entrenched in our constitution.
