THEME COMMITTEE VI: SUB-THEME 'Financial And Fiscal Commission’

(a) Everybody knows that South African money Is expressed in Rands and Cents, and that one rand Is equal to one hundred cents. For this reason alone the one cent coin must never be allowed to go extinct.

(b) The size of 3 coins can no longer he tolerated and must

be changed at once. These are (1) The 1 cent coin circulating in the last couple of years or so should reverse to the size of the 1 cent coin that circulated Immediately before-It. This will enable even the elderly and the sickly to handle the 1 cent coin.
(11) The 2 cents coin circulating In the last couple of years or so should reverse to the size of the 2 cents coin that circulated immediately before It. This will enable even the elderly and the sickly to handle the 2 cents coin.
(Iii) The 10 cents coin circulating in the last couple of years or so should reverse to the size of the 10 cents coin that circulated Immediately before It. This will enable even the elderly and the sickly to handle the, 10 cents coin.
