The Flood of Pornography
I am writing to you because I
am very worried about the tidal wave of pornography that leaves nobody in our
country, not even the
children, untouched. I hope that you will take into
consideration us normal people who ask only for a healthy environment - where
nothing is forced on someone who does not ask for it. One walks on pavements
and in streets and everywhere there are shops that
cheapen women's bodies - and
our children grow up with pornography on street corners - I worry about our
country's future - if our
youth are exposed in this manner, there will be many
more rapes. I think that as a woman I have the right to expect of my government
to do something about the increasing wave of pornography.
