GUIDELINES FOR THE NATIONAL DEFENCE FORCE

  1. The present structure of Defence Organigram is fragmented into Units, Depot, Sub-depots, Groups and Commando's - The last four groups should be integrated or demobilized.

  1. No retrenchment but pension package should be offered without 5 year Bonus.

  1. Command Structure should be addressed and made smaller.

  1. Investigation of all promotions for the past 10 years.

  1. Military Academy for non-Commissioner officers. To obtain a high quality soldier.

  1. Military Police should be disbanded - Only in need in times of War. Military jails included.

  1. Military Courts personnel not involved only in times of war.

  1. Present merit system not acceptable too many loopholes - advantage and disadvantage.

  1. Racism still exist at present as far as releasing of transgressors of the law is concerned - Whites are privileged.

  1. Religion is very sensitive issue - 90% of Defence Chaplains are represented by the N.G. Church. Imbalances to be rectified.

  1. No church parades - A person must feel free to go wherever he/she chooses.
