DIRECTIVE FOR JUDICIAL CASE MANAGEMENT MEETINGS – NOKO AJ – 30 JANUARY TO 3 FEBRUARY 2023

Kindly take note that Acting Judge Noko will be dealing with JCMMs from Monday 30 January 2023 to Friday 3 February 2023.  The rolls and form 10 are attached hereto.

Please ensure strict compliance with Chapters 4 and 5 of the Judge President’s Revised Practice Directive 1 of 2021 and ensure that all the relevant documents (including practice note and form 10) are uploaded onto CaseLines.  Matters will be dealt with in open court at 10:00.   The court venue will be communicated at a later stage.

All parties are directed to upload duly completed Form 10s (in Word format) onto CaseLines by no later than 13h00, one court day prior to the date the matter is on the roll i.e. matters enrolled for 30 January 2023 to be uploaded by 13:00 on 27 January 2023, matters enrolled for 31 January 2023 to be uploaded by 13:00 on 30 January 2023, matters enrolled for 1 February 2023 to be uploaded by 13:00 on 31 January 2023 etc.   Failure to do so will result in the striking of the matter from the case management roll.

The parties have the responsibility to ensure the Form 10 is correctly completed.  Failure to do so will result in the striking of the matter from the case management roll.  The plaintiff’s attorney is directed to indicate all the filed reports on the Form 10 and to stipulate whether the certification is requested for merits, quantum or both.

Counsel are requested to hand up one hard copy of the Form 10 in court.

Once a matter is certified, the signed Form 10 will be uploaded unto CaseLines within 2 days from the certification.  Should any party not receive an outcome by Tuesday 7 February 2023 at 16h00, please send a query to JHefer@judiciary.org.za.
