I would like to suggest the following:-
There
are nine regions maybe 10 (Volkstaat)
Now the President is nominated from
various parties and the one who gets the highest number is then president, Now
he elects his parliment
that is the Minister of Health, Defence, Finance etc
plus any debuties.
Now as I said we have say 10 regions and in each
region you have various parties NP. PAC etc now which ever party wins the
most
eg i" party D gets 600/o then they have 6 seats and so on but no
more than 10 members to the Assembly. I cannot see why we should have
400 in
the National Assembly and 90 in the Senate, The whole lot should be combined and
called the Senate and have no more than 100
plus various ministers. The Regions
should be kept to a minimum.
We must looked to the future and think what
its going to cost by the year 2000 and beyond. If I think back to 1945 what
things cost
and then we said how expensive it is and what it is today and we
still say the same, there are more poor people unemployed today
that in those
days and in the years ahead it will only get worse.
Less Members then we
will get more work done, less fat cats and we will have more money to help the
poor, ill and schools in the future.
TAXES: I feel all people over 65
years should pay no tax and if paid to be a small amount and on all
interest/Dividends etc no change.
I feel as a pensioner and like
most others in our class we all ride old cars and cannot ever buy a new car.
Pensioners must be looked
after and not milked except those in the millionare
range.??
I have typed the above for what it might be worth and am only
stating things with an open mind. I am not Political and belong to
no
party.
