Could I, with the opportunity that you have given us all, make a couple of points which is a great source of worry to me.

Firstly the death penalty, which must be abhorrent to most of us should not be brought back. We all have to answer to God at the end of our lives and I think we should leave it to him. A lifetime in jail for murder or grievous bodily harm should be enough surely provided that there is no parole or being let out on bail to kill again.

Secondly, if we have no death penalty for murderers, surely we can have no death penalty for the unborn, who are innocent. A woman who kills her child the minute it is born can be tried on a murder charge, if she does the self same thing a few months earlier she gets away with it and is even applauded and sympathised with.

We've had enough killing in this country let us shine to the rest of the world on these issues, and stand for what is right. There is every excuse given under the sun for killing an unborn innocent, but in the final analysis its always for purely selfish reasons and its always murder which ever way you look at it.

Let us not push our luck with Almighty God. He was with us during the elections let us not anger him with this issue.

Let us have no death penalty and no abortions. Thank you for letting me have my say, its really wonderful that we are now allowed to do it.

God be with you all.

Yours
Joan Moore (Mrs)
