operation;

provide
for

connected
therewith.

IT
ENACTED
by
the
State
President
and
the
Parliament
of
the
Republic of
South
Africa,
as
follows:-

- Repeal
of
section
2
of
Act
98
of
1982
-
- 1.
Section
2
of
the
Registration
of
Newspapers
Amendment
Act,
1982
(hereinafter
referred
to
as
the
principal
Act),
is
hereby
repealed.
-
- Amendment
of
section
3
of
98
of
1982
-
- 2.
Section
3
of
the
principal
Act
is
hereby
amended
by
the
deletion
of paragraph
(a).
-
- Short
title
-
- 3.
This
Act
shall
be
called
the
Registration
of
Newspapers
Amendment
-
Act,
1993.
