Carina has worked with SAFLII since 2013 and has been the Director of SAFLII since 2016. She brings a wealth of management experience from both corporate and non-profit organisations. She possesses extensive business management skills, technical knowledge and an in-depth knowledge of modern web practices.
Carina holds certificates in business management ( PgDip in Management Practice, Graduate school of Business(UCT) ), Information Technology and some programming languages such as C, C++ and perl. She is also able to develop using HTML, CSS, PHP and also holds certificates in XML (Akoma Ntoso).
She is currently pursuing an MBA through the University of Stellenbosch Business School.
Karen previously worked at Wits Medical School and Law School libraries.
For the past ten years she has worked as a part time consultant to the Constitutional Court website.
She has been involved as a parallel citations editor with SAFLII, on a part time basis, for the past five years.

Trinesha joined the SAFLII content team in December 2022 as a content editor. She holds an LLB (UWC) and is currently pursuing her LLM in Alternative Dispute Resolution at the University of Stellenbosch.
Juan-Pierre joined SAFLII as a senior content editor in October 2023. He holds a LLB (UWC) , LLM in Human Rights Law (UWC) and a LLM in Dispute Resolution (UCT). Juan-Pierre is passionate about academica and free access to law and information. He hopes to pursue Phd studies in the near future.
