Law via the Internet Conference
Next week SAFLII is hosting the Law via the Internet conference for the very first time in Africa! Conference registrations now exceed 190 participants and the Programme <http://www.lawviatheinternet.org/programme> features speakers from the judiciary, academia, private sector and NGOs from around the world. Deputy Chief Justice Moseneke (South Africa) will open the event and Chief Justice Egonda-Ntende (Seychelles) will deliver the keynote address. The conference will fous on legal, policy and technical issues facing free access to law initiatives in developing countries.
The Conference proceedings will be published in the open access Potchefstroom Electronic Law Journal // Potchefstroomse Elektroniese Regsblad early next year.
