IN THE COURT OF APPEAL OF BOTSWANA
Criminal Appeal No. 32 of 1991
High Court Cr. App. No. 187 of 1990
In the matter of:
EDWIN MOLEFE
Appellant
vs
THE STATE
Respondent
Appellant in person
Mr. P. S. Sedie for the Respondent
JUDGMENT
AGUDA, J.A.:
This is an application for leave to appeal to this Court. The appellant was convicted in the Magistrate's Court of the offences of Office Breaking and Theft, Unlawful use of a motor vehicle and Driving without a licence. He was sentenced to imprisonment for 3 years plus one stroke on the first count and fined P60
on each of the two other counts.
His appeal to the High Court was dismissed. His application for leave to appeal to this Court was also dismissed.
I have listened carefully and patiently to everything that the Appellant has to urge but regrettably I have not been able to see any merit whatsoever in his application. There is no reasonable possibility of success in this Court.
V
Therefore leave to appeal is refused
T. A. AGUDA Judge of Appeal
Given at Lobatse this 22nd day of November, 1991
